The serial reproduction of my figure, based on photographs from different periods, creates a pattern that fills the composition. In this self-portrait of sorts, the uniqueness of the figure is blurred by its replication, as it becomes a detail in a pattern. These works attend to the concept of horror vacui (fear of empty space) as an element that undermines the classical relations between figure and space, and explore the line between intimacy and estrangement, anonymity and identity.
